Please submit a pledge celebrating allegiance to anything you really have allegiance to or feel strongly about. They don’t have to fit the format of the “traditional” pledge. Whimsical is fine.
Please include your name as you’d like it to be posted. You may also choose to be Anonymous.
Also include where you live (i.e., City, State) with your submission.
You are welcome to submit pledges on any topic, though new pledges will be accepted at our discretion. For example, we’d be likely to include pledges which indicate allegiance to ice cream, kink, art, etc., but not any that advocate hate, discrimination, or violence (though you might see some adamant anti-hate pledges).
Proofread your submission before sending. We assume that what you send is what you want posted on the site.
Please avoid complicated formatting and keep indentation to a minimum. This is a purposefully simple WordPress site and we can’t do a lot with the text. For instance, pieces that are spread across the page with unusual spacing or sculpting are not easily replicated here and will not maintain their intended look on most phones and some tablets since they have shorter line lengths than a printed page. We suggest avoiding that, and will likely not accept a piece if it’s too difficult or impossible to format as you send it.
